All pharmacies in our area offer a service called Pharmacy First which gives patients with common, minor ailments (e.g. coughs, colds, sore throat, hay fever, diarrhoea, earache, skin rashes) the option of visiting your local pharmacist and receiving treatment with over-the-counter medication rather than attending the surgery. We encourage patients to use this service which saves you time and places less pressure on available appointments.

We would also ask you to nominate a specific pharmacy for us to direct electronic prescriptions to and where you can pick these up more efficiently.
